Manual firmware upgrade for Brightsign Players

BrightSign® Digital Signage Players> Products and Software> "Download our latest Brightsign Software"

Determine the model of the Brightsign players (currently, all players are XT4)

Extract the update.bsfw file to your desktop

Pull the SD card from the player and delete all the files.

From the Appspace Dashoard, navigate to the "Devices" tab and locate the player you're working on.

Unregister the device

Dump the update.bsfw file onto the harddrive by itself, power on the player and let the firmware upgrade take place.

Once the player reboots, power off the unit, pull the SD card then top the manual registry files that can be curated through appspace.

To obtain these files, select "+Add" from the devices tab.

Select "I want to go to advanced device registration options"

Replicate the options selected below.

Dump the contents of the autorun.zip file onto the SD card, insert the SD card into the player and power it on.

From here, you would follow the on screen instructions.
