Monitor Problems Checklist

Monitor not showing anything / no display:

Is the monitor powered on / power button turned on / pressed / clicked / LED on?
Is the power cable connected properly (disconnect/reconnect)?
Is the wall outlet able to power anything else (eg. laptop or desktop or printer)?
Is the Monitor cable connected properly (disconnect/reconnect)?
Is the correct HDMI SOURCE selected on the monitor?
Is the laptop powered on?
